Harry Potter er Daniel Radcliffe On Broadway

We took the subway to Radio City Music Hall and went to a cute little organic cafe called "Le Pain Quotidien" I think in NY - brunch is a must every day, there are just too many fun restaurants to pass up.

We saw the newly lit Rockefeller Tree and realized just how close we were to it the night before during the lighting ceremony and Justin Beiber concert... Bummer.

We checked out the Nintendo World store and I raced Mario just like I did when I was a kid. (As you can see - I came in a easy first again!)

We went shopping at Macy's, yes like actually browsed the rack and checked out their Louis Vuitton selection. It was just so fun to walk around in the store because of all the Christmas decor! I loved it.

Even their window displays were of a Christmas story - not just clothes and things for sell.

We went to the 9/11 Memorial and to the Empire State Building - but those pics are going to have to wait (way to many).

After the Empire State Building we sat on the red steps and watched people in Times Square (again). Seems like you can't go anywhere in NYC (at least to Broadway shows) without passing through Times Square a time or two each day ;0)

What trip to New York (or Las Vegas or Orlando or London) would be complete without a visit to M&M World. For just $12.99 a pound you can purchase M&M's in any color and flavor you want!

Can you guess which colors/flavors were most popular?

Mike and Kjersten love Harry Potter so the broadway "How to Succeed In Business" was on the "Definitely Do" list. In fact, Mike purchased tickets months in advance so that we could for sure see it while we were out there. Ugh, expensive. Kjersten waited and bought her ticket at TKTS and ended up being only 2 rows in front of us so at intermission she came back and sat with us.

The broadway was really enjoyable and Daniel Radcliffe gave an excellent performance. I am not going to lie, I was kind of worried about his singing in the first song, but that didn't last too long and he seemed to be in his element in no time. Kjersten commented on how great it is to watch someone do what they love and want to do. She pointed out that he is (probably?) a millionaire and most likely doesn't have to work right now, but because he loves it, he is. I enjoyed that thought.
The story was of a window washer (Radcliffe) who purchases a book on... (wait for it)... How to Succeed In Business (go figure). It's of him rising to the top and the tricks he pulls and the falls he takes getting there. He finds love and makes some friends along the way and although it sounds corny, it was. LoL. But still really good with great music too!

Kjersten and I got to meet Bud Frump (Christoper J. Hanke), J.B. Biggley's (John Larroquette) er.... the boss's nephew after the broadway. He was J. Pierrepont Finch's (Radcliffe's) main competition in every area of the story.

After the broadway we met up with Amanda, Shara, Rusty and Angela.

I'm so jealous! I love Harry Potter! I love all your pictures too. Everything looks so pretty with all of the Christmas decorations.
