Easter Surprise / New Baby Announcement

For Easter we gave our family members these special hand painted Easter Eggs:
Each one had a special message, unique for each person, inside. It was the announcement of our new baby expected sometime in October. Hurray!
Supposedly everyone 'knew' what we were announcing before they cracked their eggs open.
Austin was especially thrilled that the tentative due date is his birthday!
These two were super excited to find out they'll have a new cousin to be friends with!
October seems way too far away, but we will do our best to patiently await her arrival :).

Pregnant Friends

How fun is being pregnant with your friends?

SUPER FUN!!!!

All the announcements, well except for Amanda's, came around the same time.

Amanda is due on July 2 (Girl)
Lindsey is due on September 15 (Boy)
Morgan is due on September 23 (Boy)
and I am due on October 23 (Girl)

We had one of our semi-annual girls sleepovers and decided to get some belly photos:

I forgot why I didn't put on make-up and then I remembered, I did, but then I threw-up, and it all came off. This happens every.single.time I put on make-up, so I have basically stopped.
This is how we all feel about pregnancy right now:
And the front shot of our pregnant bellies:
But we couldn't leave out Tabbi & Karina just because they aren't pregnant:
(Tracy came later and Kjersten was sadly MIA.)
Around midnight, we were all talking and laughing in the basement. Then the doorbell started ringing. Then it rang again, and again. We didn't want to answer it because who would be ringing a doorbell at midnight? Karina got a bat, and Lindsey, Karina, and I went upstairs to open the door. Nobody was there and the door which we thought had been locked, was unlocked. So we figured it was a bunch of teenagers pulling a prank but we checked every nook and cranny in the house. Then doorbell started ringing some more.
Lindsey took down the doorbell, and it continued to ring. LoL, we decided that the doorbell was malfunctioning and so I popped out the batteries. We were thrilled that it was nothing more than that.
After that adrenaline rush we ate some midnight snacks, told some more stories, migrated back upstairs for more chit chat and all in all we ended up staying up WAY TOO LATE, and we finally crashed. We had an amazing amount of food for breakfast (with 4 pregnant women what do you expect) and then we hit up a garage sale before heading home.

I love our little get-together's and can't wait for all the babies to be here this fall!

What We Did That Day

On Valentine's Day I woke up to take a test - I thought Valentine's Day would be a fun day to tell Mike he is gonna be a dad. The test was the lame "non-digital" kind. So it has two lines. One if you are not pregnant, two if you are pregnant. It had one dark line, and one really faint other line, so I decided, it's a negative.

I went to work and that night we left for a 5 day trip to Zions National Park.

We hiked all weekend long. Monday we hiked as long as we could before heading back to the house and packing up for the long drive home.

One of Monday's hikes: Hidden Canyon
The canyon/drop off from where Mike is standing in the above pic:
Us looking out at Angel's Landing (we had done that hike Saturday...):

And when we got home late Monday night I decided to take another test. Mike was gone getting a pizza since we needed to head for bed but hadn't wanted to stop to eat on the way home.

This time the two lines were both bright red.

So I wrapped up a belated Valentine's Day gift and gave it to him:
I custom ordered this bib (meaning I made up the saying that is on the front is all) because Mike & I love the show "How I Met Your Mother" and the whole "Legend...Wait for It..." quote is a huge thing on that show. They usually end it with "Dary" as in Legendary. But I took a little spin in hopes that Mike would like it - and not knowing when I would actually be giving it to him - but thankfully it came just in time!
Us after a full day of hiking and driving (and being extremely tired but extremely happy):
WAHOO! Baby Teagle coming ~October 23, 2013.
